Ann and Dale
live in Tokyo, serving in church planting, church strengthening, leadership training, and missionary encouragement.

Their ministry includes...

- Planting a multi-cultural church with Japanese and English congregations at its core (Dale and Ann);

- Teaching evangelistic English classes (Ann);

- Guiding a partnership of three churches in their evangelistic English class program (Dale);

- Training future pastors and missionaries by lecturing part-time in theology at two schools (Dale);

- Serving as president of the Japan Evangelical Missionary Association (JEMA) which exists to network, equip, and encourage all evangelical missionaries in Japan (Dale);

- Encouraging missionary women in Japan by leading the Women in Ministry commission of JEMA (Ann).

MINISTRY update...

• With the arrival of a new pastoral couple at Musashino Chapel Center, where we have been serving an interim pastorate, we are now freed up to develop a strategy for our next church planting project in Tokyo. It is going to be a unique and exciting project! The idea is for the project to be done under the initiative of the English department of MCC. Click here for more info....

• We begin a one year home assignment in August 2010. A little more here...

• Ann continues her evangelistic English classes north of Tokyo in Gunma-ken (Tomioka/Kanra towns). More here....

FAMILY update...

• As a professional associate with the EFC of Canada Mission, Kristy is the academic guidance counselor at Christian Academy in Japan (Tokyo). She plans to begin doctoral studies in clinical psychology in the fall of 2010. More here...

• Bryan is doing well and enjoying his second year at LeTourneau University in Texas. A few pics here...

• Matthew is in his final year of high school at Christian Academy in Japan. He has been accepted to Biola for the fall. More here...

EFC OF CANADA MISSION Tokyo...

• In the fall of 2008, Laura joined the EFC of Canada Mission as evangelistic English teacher in three churches in greater Tokyo. But she has had to take a medical leave for cancer treatments, with plans to return in the fall of 2010. Read a little more here....
