Tokyo Project: leadership

MCCworsh2008122From Nov/2007 through Jan/2010, we served as the interim, part-time pastoral couple of the English (international) Department of Tokyo Musashino Evangelical Free Church (or Musashino Chapel Center--MCC). MCC is a church with four worship services every Sunday, three in Japanese and one in English.

Our purposes as the interim pastoral couple were to assist the English Department through a period of time without a pastor and to develop a church planting vision with the church leadership. The new church planting project was to be a daughter church of MCC, was to begin after the arrival of a new pastoral couple, and would be led by us. These plans are becoming a reality!

Now that Howard and Marilynn Plucar are the pastoral couple at MCC, we are strategizing and planning for this exciting new church planting project in Tokyo. Our church planting strategy is being developed with the Plucars and with the board of the English Department of MCC. So the leadership for this project is being provided by the Littles and by both the pastoral and lay leaders of MCC.

More info will be forthcoming. Click here to read further about our church planting vision on the east side of Tokyo.
