My goal is to be faithful, not necessarily efficient or successful. When my personal life and my ministry spheres are pleasing to God, then I approach this goal of being faithful.

    • Move from pastoring to church planting/missions
    • Recruit 1-2 TCU interns for 2009 ~ 2010 academic year
• Theological education
  • Tokyo Christian University (TCU)
    • Teach Church History 2 (Apr-Jun/2009)
    • Seek God's will regarding desire to teach more at TCU
  • Japan Bible Seminary (JBS)
    • Teach ContemporaryTheology (Apr-Oct/2009)
    • Seek God's will regarding future teaching role at JBS
• Mission partnerships
  • Japan Evangelical Missionary Association (JEMA)
    • Recruit leaders for 2010-2012
    • Rework membership parts of Const/ByLaws
    • As Preseident of JEMA, represent all evangelical missionaries in Japan at 2009 celebrations of the 150th anniversary of Protestant missions in Japan
    • Write quarterly President's Pen in Japan Harvest
  • Kanto Evangelistic English Program (KEEP) (Kanto = greater Tokyo)
    • Position program for long term ministry
    • Communicate frequently with Pastor Maki, the leader of the three churches which cooperate in KEEP by sponsoring one EFCCM evangelistic English teacher
  • ReachGlobal (Japan)
    • Interact with ReachGlobal (Japan) field leaders about shared ministry in Japan
• Mission base
  • EFC of Canada Mission
    • Lead fellowship of EFCCM personnel in the Tokyo area
    • Seek God's will about Country Leader equivalent role in Japan
  • Mission support base
    • Line up 2010 one year home assignment
    • Visit all supporting churches in 2010 home assignment

  • Update and improve my websites
  • Fix/repair ReachGlobal (Japan) buildings as necessary in Tokyo and Sendai
• Staying physically healthy
  • Walk 30-60 minutes three times a week
