Since April 2001 Dale has been a lecturer in systematic theology at Japan Bible Seminary (JBS), located in Hamura City in the northwest corner of Tokyo City. (There are cities within Tokyo City.) JBS is an interdenominational graduate school currently training about 50 full time students, plus additional part time students. JBS places a strong emphasis on the study of both Greek and Hebrew, and is a highly respected evangelical seminary here in Japan. JBS offers a three and a four year series of courses leading to a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) equivalency. Dale teaches Contemporary Theology, in Japanese, to fourth year seminary students during the first semester (April - October) at JBS each year. The class size ranges from 4-10 students. All are preparing to become full time pastors or missionaries. And all have the backing of their home churches. Some photos of Dale's JBS students can be seen below. |
